SNOWBOUND
A mother and a father embittered by a lifetime of antipathy. An older son with a failing career and a wife whose hostility has driven a wedge between him and his siblings. A younger son whose increasing distance, during college, has called into question his identity and the secrets that he has been keeping. A daughter whose unexpected pregnancy has turned her life upside-down.
Gathering for Thanksgiving at their home in rural Montana, the family begins the holiday on the brink of a breaking point.
But as strained nerves and tempers threaten to push each of them to a over the edge, a sudden power outage in the midst of a punishing blizzard seals the entire family in a claustrophobic pressure cooker. The snow piles up, and the food and emergency supplies dwindle, while the family must come to a reckoning with a frightening new realization: the electricity is may not be coming back.
Faced with a dangerously unraveling situation, the formerly-estranged family must confront their pasts and come together to fight for their very survival.
